Sheri Rocha is a board-certified Physician Associate and the founder and co-owner of Modern Aesthetics. She specializes in treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions for patients of all skin types, with a focus on achieving natural-looking results through minimally invasive rejuvenation techniques.

Sheri holds a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, as well as two master's degrees in Public Health (MPH) and Physician Associate Studies (MSPAS). She has dedicated over eight years to honing her dermatology and aesthetic skills, training alongside Allergan national trainers and other leading experts in the field. In 2021, Sheri completed the Allergan Master Expert Series course, solidifying her reputation as a master in her craft.

Known for her honesty, personable approach, and attention to detail, Sheri is highly regarded by her clients. She is passionate about preventative care and helping her patients age gracefully while maintaining a vibrant and youthful appearance.

Outside of her practice, Sheri enjoys traveling, exploring new music, and spending time outdoors (with SPF, of course!). She cherishes time with her family, friends, and her German shepherd.

Krystal Mitchell, MD

Medical Director

Krystal Mitchell, MD, MBA, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and double fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and Facial Cosmetic Surgeon in Beverly Hills, CA. Her expertise is in treating various skin, hair, and nail conditions in individuals of all skin types. She places great emphasis on achieving a natural aesthetic through facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, energy-based devices, liposuction, hair restoration, and non-invasive techniques for skin rejuvenation. 

Dr. Mitchell graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell-Molecular Biology from Oklahoma City University. She went on to complete her Master of Business Administration at Oklahoma Christian University and obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Oklahoma. Following this, she completed her internship at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, and her residency in dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, New York. While at Mount Sinai Hospital, Dr. Mitchell actively contributed to the Root Cause Analysis Committee and the GME Diversity Council. Additionally, she led a community-engaged initiative that received grant funding to address Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia.

Dr. Mitchell is recognized as a rising star in the field of dermatology. Her background as a former pharmaceutical microbiologist and her experience as the founder and CEO of a non-profit organization has been instrumental in shaping her career.

She is one of the co-founding members of the Gloderm Trainee Committee, an initiative that democratizes dermatology education for residents worldwide. In addition, Dr. Mitchell serves on various committees for professional organizations such as the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), the Women's Dermatologic Society (WDS), and the Skin of Color Society (SOCS). Her contributions have been recognized through numerous awards, research articles, and book chapters as she continues to pursue research in hair disorders, inflammatory, conditions, skin cancer, and ant-aging.
